Council of Ministers

The Zambezi River Authority is governed by a Council of Ministers (COM) consisting of four members, two of whom are Ministers in the Government of the Republic of Zambia and two of whom are Ministers in the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe. The Ministers designated by the two Governments to be members of the Council are those holding portfolios of Energy on the one hand and Finance on the other hand. According to the ZRA Act, the Chairmanship of the Council is held alternately by the Ministers responsible for Energy in the Governments of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
