The Zambezi River flows at Victoria Falls are increasing steadily due to localised rainfall activity, closing the period under review at 606m3/s on 15th January 2024.  The flow observed on the same date last year was 594m3/s.

The Zambezi River flows at Chavuma have been fluctuating because of variation in rainfall activity around the catchment of interest, closing the period under review at 2,088m3/s on 10th March 2025 whilst last year on the same date it was much lower at 344m3/s.
