The Zambezi River Authority (“the Authority”) has set aside funds to purchase various ICT equipment during the 2025 financial year and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the contracts for the Supply and Delivery of Various Information and Communication and Technology (ICT) Equipment for Zambezi River Authority.
The Authority is a corporate body jointly and equally owned by the Governments of Zambia and Zimbabwe (“Contracting States”) and is mandated with the management of the Kariba Complex and the stretch of the Zambezi River (from Kazungula to Luangwa in Zambia and from Kazungula to Kanyemba in Zimbabwe) forming a common border between the two Contracting States.
The Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible and experienced Bidders registered in Zambia for the Supply and Delivery of various ICT Equipment as detailed in the Request for Bids and the summarized schedule of requirement in the table below.

Bidders are encouraged to bid for any of the lots and are allowed to Bid for more than one lot.
Bidding will be conducted using Open National Competitive Bidding in accordance with the Authority’s Procurement Policy and Procedures. Bidders shall submit their bids, one (1) original and four (4) copies and bids must be deposited in the TENDER BOX placed on the Ground Floor Reception Area, Kariba House, 32 Cha Cha Cha Road Lusaka on or before 6th May 2025, 16:00 hours Local Time, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF VARIOUS ICT EQUIPMENT FOR ZAMBEZI RIVER AUTHORITY and accompanied by a signed Bid Securing Declaration. Telegraphic and telefax offers will not be accepted.
Clarifications regarding this tender must be submitted to the Authority in accordance with provisions stated in the tender document.
LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
